Hey guys.
Here to say that I'm retiring as head admin of the site. For a few reasons, all related to my personal life and the forum's/RPG making. I'm sure it isn't news to you guys, I haven't been logging in and putting much effort into the site like I said I would. It's been a blast with you all, and I'll still be dropping by to chat. Special thanks to all the staff for all the work they put into the site, you guys are in charge now. Of course, if most of you still visits. I know, lame exit, huh? I'm as bad at these as I am with introductions.
I've been done with RPG making for a long time, I haven't worked on my projects in months. I'll still have my administration status, I own the site so I'll still need that haha. I don't really have much else to say, thanks to everyone that has been with us since the start of the site, you guys are awesome. As well as all the other members here.
You guys are all awesome and what made this site what it is now. Peace all.

This is mainly about the homepage. It wasn't much of a success, but I do plan on building up a new one.
Turns out, my account for the host (which is 000webhost) was deleted, so now I have no access to edit or post on the homepage. I honestly don't know why it was removed, and they didn't notify me why, so I'm planning on starting up an entirely new homepage and will update it more often than I have before.
I've got second thoughts of just keeping the forum and not the homepage, but still could use the feedback about it.
I'll be moving and adding more articles to the homepage, resource and tutorial articles as well in other parts of the site. Maybe sometime in the future we'll continue the newsletters. As for that, I'm either thinking of using the same theme our current one has, or a new one.
That and our forums has partnered with Planet Indie, and you can get the link to their site through the button at the bottom of the index.
The ibEconomy has also been updated to 1.5.1

Enterbrain released awhile ago new resources exclusively for RPG Maker VX, the 'Samurai Pack'. Which includes new animations, high quality graphics, and maps. They are available for purchase at the official RPG Maker site.

First off, very lovely theme! I just love it, the colors and the smilies coordinate very well and it just looks simply stunning and it sort of mirrors the idea of the forum. I just love the nav bar too. It is just perfect and is laid out very well. Very well done on the header.
I like the logo, like all you did with it, but it feels scrunched up to me. Try and space it out or put a line between the first and second line to help even things out. Right now it feels very close together.
The "Top 5 Statistics" doesn't have the same background header as "Our Board Statistics". Those two boxes go hand in hand so just upload the image file from one to the other and let HTML magic take its work.
Overall, on first glance this looks like a very professional and dedicated forum with sleek graphics and a great layout.

Site Layout
Your site is honestly very well done layout wise. All the page elements seem to be in the perfect place. However on the forums there could be some change. On the "Development room" category, I would move the Maker's Discussion below completed games. Just an order of priority thing. I'd also move the Scripts and Resources forums should be the last two on the category seeing as they are less discussion and more of a resource/utility forum.
Also, I'd move community hangout category to the last category, right under the main game discussion. Just so the main focus is on the game development. However they can go hand in hand so if you disagree it won't really hurt. It can go either way.
I also love the affiliates placement. They are centered at the bottom - not in the way and not un-seeable?

Statistics and Activity
You have been open for a pretty long time now and only have almost 10,000 posts which - don't get me wrong is a very nice sum of posts but I mean now that games are getting more popular and lots of tools are becoming available to the public there is a larger community of game developers so try and drive them to your forum.
If you really want a boost, try paid advertising. It may not seem like a neccesity but for your forum and what category your forum is in it will really stand out - especially a really well written ad for adsense.
Your forum really does need a shot of activity though, you have only a handful of posts that were made in the past few days. I'd promote a contest to pull in game developers. Like a developer with x amount of posts in x amount of time gets a monetary boost to their game development project. That would REALLY boost some people to start posting and start getting more comfortable with your forum.

Staff Moderation
You have a good amount of staff for a forum of your size. They are also the top posters which is a good thing showing they are active and participating in the forum. As far as I can see there really is no spam and the forums rules are followed. You have a 'comfortable' community right now because everyone knows eachother. So they won't have too much of a hard time keeping the forum clean and free from bad members.

You have some very well written forums. The only one I would look at is the fun forum that says:
"Make fools of yourself here. Or roleplay" could be better if it said:
"Make a fool of yourself or roleplay."
All of your other forums are very well done. Maybe freshen them up and re-write some of them to make it feel updated and just to give them a new look?

All our forum rules meaning all-around board guidelines, game development posting guidelines, and completed game guidelines, have been updated. I strongly suggest having a look at the board guidelines, and when posting your completed/progressing game(s) you view the rules before making your topic (well, it goes under moderation approval so if your topic doesn't meet the requirements you'll probably never see it again).
Necroposting is now a rule. Starting today (well actually 2 days ago, but I'll allow recent (there were a few, you know who you are :|) necroposts because not many knew about the update. Any posts that do not benefit the topic will cause you to be warned, and topic closed. Original poster of the topic (topic author) can report the topic OR PM whoever closed it to have it reopened if needed. Situations vary if it will be closed, if you have something that can benefit or are the original poster and wish to bump up the topic, that can be done. If your posting, let's say in a script topic that has been dead over a month, and you are asking for support and the original poster has not visited for awhile or the script is no longer supported, that breaks the rules of necroposting. The support forum is there for a reason, so use it.
Our staff are going to be more stricter about the rules, and will usually decide themselves what should be done about the topic(s). Any questions can be asked here or through PM.

To reduce spam in the forum games section, counting threads and spam-related topics are no longer allowed. The staff have discussed and have agreed, a lot of the forum games are just spam-related posts that don't have to do anything with the subject of the game most of the time.
And to add to that, members cannot post new topics in the forum. Instead, read the pinned topic for more details.

I have the Creation Shop up and running, and the points are called "Creation Creds" for now. (blue's idea)
I'm at the moment adding stuff to the store, so you can't buy anything right now.
The Creation Shop features welfare, credit cards, the shop, donations, investments, your portfolio, and loans!
Like I said, I'm still editing a lot of the features (there are a lot haha) so you can't do much right now.

RPG Creation now has an official points/shop application. I'm still editing everything so you won't be able to do much at the moment.
So, posts/topics/comment-on-your-profile/reputation/other-stuff can earn you points! Or, as I call them at the moment, 'Creation Bucks'. Have any ideas for the name? Let me know.
You can use the Creation Bucks in the shop to get stuff, and resource packs! In the shop, you can get exclusive resources for download just by being a regular member here.

Well, this is mainly my fault 
We really never got around to writing it, as most of it was discussing on who should write what. xD
So, sorry but no newsletter this Sunday. I never even got around to writing it for myself.. yeah
BUT to make up for it, the homepage is released! We don't have a domain yet, but we plan on soon! (rpgcreation.com is taken.. so something along the lines of rpg-c.com/org possibly..)
